4th Short - [Voice]
Feb. 21st, 2011 07:21 pm[This past week was an especially tiring one for Oswald. It's not that he has anything against Valentine's Day or lovers in general. It's just that everything reminded him of his precious Ortensia, who's an especially sore topic for him. Now that the dust seems to have settled, he feels a little safer trying to catch people's attention.]
So, that's it? It's over? No more goo-goo eyes? No more fruit that turns people nutty? [Rhetorical questions. He doesn't expect anyone to answer.]
Good. In that case, I have an announcement to make. A couple weeks back, I asked how many people knew what a cartoon is. The responses were shockin', to say the least. That's why I'm startin'... The Cartoon Club!
After havin' a little talk with that Catherine fellow, I managed to get my hands on a film projector and some of the classic Disney cartoons. I got Oswald the Lucky Rabbit- featuring me, a few of the greatest Silly Symphonies, some stuff from Goofy and Donald Duck, couple of shorts featurin' Pluto... You name it! I'll show ya a cartoon every week, maybe every two weeks, and you'll all come to appreciate the art in no time! And if ya already know what cartoons are, why not join us and enjoy the movies anyway? The more, the merrier!
Which leads me to the biggest problem- Location. Anyone got any ideas where we can set up a theater? I read somethin' about a rec center, so if someone can tell me more about that place, that'd be great.
